Silhouette is GOING OUT OF BUSINESS
After much consideration, I’ve decided to close down Silhouette. There are many reasons I made the decision, and many of them are personal. I want to thank all of my customers for their support over the years!

Everything in my shop is discounted 75% or more, and I will remain open until February 1, 2011
TP there
Hey, what’s up ? What’s going on ?

Hey, I will certainly miss Silhouettes. Wow…this is really disappointing. Thanks for many years of great clothing options for large women. You are, and will be, greatly missed.
I know you have your reasons and wish you well.

I am so very disappointed by the closing of Silhouette… it was the only option for stylish clothing that wasn’t owned by one particular corporation. I won’t mention names, but when they bought out another famous plus size company they discarded all the styles and vendors of the previous company and replaced lovely plus size stylish clothes with nothing but casual wear and business pants and tops. NONE of the beautiful lingerie or dressy clothes I have come to love from Silhouette. Will dearly miss you. Now I once again will have to return to sewing all my own clothes.

Oh well….change is the one constant in life! It’s been nice Silhouettes, you will truly be missed. Nothing like stylish affordable clothing to make a BBW even more B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! Thanks for the time you were available, may God keep you , bless you and strengthen you!

I will miss Silhouettes very much. People always ask where do I shop because they liked my clothes. No one had the clothes but me and I like that. Full-figure with style! My closet is all their clothing! As much as I loved the clothes, I must move on. Went to Oneplusshop.com, but not the same. Will research for other clothing stores. Good luck to all former Silhouettes shoppers. I will pray that God send us something bigger, better than ever.

OMG can’t believe you are gone…where will I find Big Shirts that are all cotton..any one out there..I have found mixed cotton but not 100% cotton that is true to size, etc. etc. And ribbed tank tops with just a hint of spandex and cotton…Wow you are already missed!

i am really sick about this. Really loved silhouettes and I don’t particularly like
onestopshopping.com. Really wish that someone could have picked up this business and kept things going on. With that being said I wish you the very best in everything and will pray for you for whatever you are going through. God bless you

I have been wearing your linen pants for years. I just kept replacing them. I am so sad that this is the end. It is so hard to find stylish clothes so i don’t look like all other big women. You will be missed!

Oh please consider opening back up or at least have another site sell your jeans. Silouettes denim were the only ones that actually cover everything up and made the flab look great. So sad!!

Add me to the list of very disappointed customers. Silhouettes clothes offered good value and high quality fabric and styling for large size women. Most of my clothes from special occasion wear to comfy nighshirts came from Silhouettes. Now I can only find highly over-priced clothes, fashions that are designed to make me look even shorter and wider, or clothes that are made so poorly that I’d only wear them at home.
I wish you well and will keep hoping that you can reopen the site or have someone else take over with you providing your knowledge because it’s very special. Thanks

Just found out! So sad. Your clothing was a notch above the other larger sized catalog stuff out there. Nice shoes too, in styles unlike others.

this is sad. There are no stylish clothing vendors out there for plus size women now that you are closing doors. Although, if you like slightly bohemian, Renaissance style clothes, try holyclothing.com (no I don’t work for them, I just like their stuff).

Seems to me there would have been a buyer, however, please let us know if you start up again. Us Davinci, full-figured woman really need your touch. The others quality just doesn’t match. Que Lastima!

Hi Ladies, I am the president of Ulla Popken Ltd. Prior to joining Ulla, I worked as head of marketing for Silhouettes and although they were a competitor of ours I, too am saddened by their decision to shut down. However, I can tell you that I wholeheartedly believe what Ulla Popken offers is far superior to Silhouettes’ offering. Why don’t you check it out for yourselves & let me know what you think? http://www.ullapopken.com you can email me at president@ullapopken.com. I’d love to hear from you. Sincerely, Phyliss Mosca
