Audri skins and Lingerie from Hucci

As promised in my last post I’ve finally found the time to properly feature the newest line of skins from ATOMIC – Audri and I’ve paired it with the amazing new Fishnet Bra and Panty set from HUCCI.

Available in six new makeups, with the unique flair and interesting color combination we’ve all come to expect from ATOMIC skins. Ivy has brought back the lip color technique used in the Faith skins, a solid upper lip and graduated fading of color in the lower lipgloss. Each makeup is also packaged with a nude/natural matte lip and a freckle option.

Notice I’ve included a photo especially for those in SL who just can’t keep their mouths shut. (you know who you are)
Rest assured the Audri skins boast a tongue and lovely set of teeth.

And while we’re on the subject of those who get all up in arms because they expect the watermark overlay on their demo skins to be seamless…

The rest of us, who don’t make a habit of wearing demo skins out in public can sleep peacefully knowing that the legs on Audri, under the demo layer, are flawless. *smiles sweetly*

Mynerva Summer of Love Skin

I’ve been sitting on this skin feature for about a week now. Yes I said “feature” and not “review”. I’ve been struggling with that term lately. If I take pretty pictures and tell you how much I love a product is that a review? It’s probably semantics, but at any rate I love this skin and I wanted to feature it and the exclusive makeups being offered at the Summer of Love fair before they disappeared.

There’s more to this post, but I’ll get to that after the pretty pictures.

Second Life 2.1 Beta

While I absolutely wanted to tear my hair out with Viewer 2.0, I am LOVING the 2.1 beta.

The Outfit and Body Management windows make dressing your avatar so much simpler once you figure out all of the features.
They FIXED the crappy camera controls (yay for us shutterbugs!)
My inventory no longer phantom unloads when I try to right click and wear something
AND you can wear multiple of the same layers!!

For some reason with the new 2.1 beta I’m being prompted at login with object menus of items I’m no longer wearing or using. If you are also having this issue…please vote/comment on the JIRA.

More BOOM and my Summer Skin

If you haven’t heard, the ICON sim is having a summer celebration, when my friend Aranel Ah from BOOM told me about it and the swimsuit fashion show, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to slip into the new Infinity bikini and show off my new summer skin. Unfortunately, SL had other plans for me and stubbornly refused to load my inventory no matter how many times I growled. By the time I was dressed the show was over, so a few picture snaps and voila! I blogged.

There are so many options of colors, patterns, and styles of the new Infinity line that an entire room is devoted to them. Have fun making your selections! You can purchase all the pieces from a selected print, or mix and match styles and fabrics.

POW!!

For the past year, I’ve had a very binge/purge relationship with SL. I sign in regularly for about 3 weeks and shop, put looks together, spend time with friends and then…I kind of fall off the radar for a month. This means I’m usually completely behind on the latest releases,  but I guess I’m ok with that.
