Continuing my mesh obsession, I saw this dress and it reminded me of Jennifer Lopez. It sat in my inventory for a few weeks and when I finally logged in Cari again, I decided to see how it fit.
(By the way, has anyone noticed that with mesh we have introduced the RL shopping dilemma of trying on clothes for fit in SL) I had to tweak my bewbs a bit but I was very pleased with the dress’s “hot factor” and knew it must be blogged.

Oh Hai! Long time no see!
I know it’s been a while, but I’ve been feeling nostalgic and going through some of my first blog posts from 2007. Scary stuff!!
So I logged into SL and found that Boystown was hosting a “burlesque” event this evening. I thought it was high time to brush Cari off and go shopping…for MESH! and other gorgeous accessories. And I mean honestly, if a Burlesque event doesn’t give you and an excuse to buy a mesh corset…you’re missing OUT!
Amazingly enough, my favorite skin on Cari at the moment is the January group gift from Filthy. FREE!! Of course for the burlesque occasion, I had to add my favorite red lip makeup.

Silhouette is GOING OUT OF BUSINESS
After much consideration, I’ve decided to close down Silhouette. There are many reasons I made the decision, and many of them are personal. I want to thank all of my customers for their support over the years!
Everything in my shop is discounted 75% or more, and I will remain open until February 1, 2011

another working title was “The skin we’ve all been chomping at the bit for.”
I’m talking about the skin that many of us have been checking our ATOMIC notices daily for any word of the official release. Ivy Graves teased us with the gorgeous November group gift of .ILLUSORY. skin, that had some of us, especially fellow .ILLUSORY. fangirl, Ashia Edwyn who was photoshopping out the warpaint, anxiously waiting for more. (holy run on sentence batman!)
Thankfully, Ivy gave us a sneak preview of the new skin tones, with a teaser pre-release this month. I was expecting the same ATOMIC skin tones from the previous lines, and I was pleasantly surprised. The new broader range of six skin tones is a completely new skin brand, and while you may recognize some features like the lips, nose and eyebrows from various ATOMIC faces, . ILLUSORY . has been completely reworked. For me, it’s like Ivy took all the best features of her skins and melded them into one super skin. Then she added the most adorable overbite EVAR! I’ve shied away from the toothy lip craze that has cropped up in the past year (honestly because I couldn’t find a “bucky” skin that I was comfortable with…what’s up doc?) The teeth photoshopped onto the . ILLUSORY . lips are subtle. I lubs <3

Ivy snuck me the Light and Warmth skin tones in two makeup packs.

Illusory skins will be set up alot like Atomic. They will be sold as individual makeups, each makeup with a dark and light brow option and freckles (4 skins) Buyers will also have the option to buy the set (4 makeups / 16 skins) at a discounted price. In addition to the skins, also includes 4 brow shapers (Flat, Shaped, Pointed, and Arched) to help create the buyers desired brow shape.

TikTok Heather skin feature
When Miah McAuley dropped her newest TikTok skin creation, named Heather, I was excited to take a look at it.
I feel in love with the gorgeous makeups, but my personal shape wasn’t really working with the facial features as much as the skin deserved. So after playing a little slider roulette, the newest addition to the Silhouette shape line emerged as one that really worked for featuring the skin.
The need to knows:
